Choose an unconventional journey to Sicily and explore lesser-known destinations, away from the tourist crowds. Departing from Taormina towards Messina or the other way around, once you have traversed the picturesque villages and attractions along the coast, detour to Letojanni or Sant Alessio along the road leading to the mountains. Heading towards Mount Calfa, you will encounter a more authentic side of Sicily, with its quaint local villages and residents engaged in games of dominoes near the neighborhood bar. Depending on the path you choose, you may pass through Limina and continue ascending, reveling in the breathtaking natural beauty and experiencing profound solitude, as encountering other vehicles here is a rare occurrence.

Seeking the protection of the Mother of God through prayer, he managed to save his own life.
